“ A new favorite! We are locals and were excited to try this new restaurant. It was amazing! I decided to try their smash burger taco and carne asade taco, and they were delicious! Very unique and full of flavor. I took a bite of my kid’s chicken fingers and they were hands down the best I’ve ever tried. Their guacamole was super fresh with just the right amount of chunkiness/creaminess ratio. And their salsa is now my favorite.. it is also just the right amount of chunkiness and has a smoked flavor with a little kick. I wish they sold the salsa by the jars! We will add this to our rotation of restaurants to visit on the regular. Great service and great atmosphere made it all 10/10. ”

“ We came to gorilla taco by complete accident! We've been in town a couple weeks and I have been dying to have good, authentic salsa with cilantro. SO GLAD I WAITED. Not only was the food excellent and priced well for a tourist town, But the service was great and the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. The servers actually seemed like they enjoyed their jobs-which makes a big difference in your experience. We were accommodated with a Large table, plenty of space, warm chips, good music and a smile from all the staff. The food was made to order and delicious, not just thrown in a microwave like many other restaurants. The guacamole, steak, chicken, chips and salsa were all awesome. Worth the wait. I will definitely make a trip back to Tennessee just to eat here again! I also Wanted to mention Julyanna was a kind and considerate server. She was attentive, thorough and very sweet. We did not feel rushed, all around pleasant experience for our children and us! You guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work. ”
“ Love the decor and bathrooms clean. Free chips and salsa Salsa chunky but not spicy ( that’s how I like it) Beans are a little on spicy side. Birria tacos have cinnamon in them (so if anyone has allergies). But tasty. I preferred the shrimp over my fish taco. Husband liked the fried chicken taco. Will be back! ”

“ Brooke and Kyla are super superstars. The Smashburgers were delicious. The kids absolutely loved their beef and cheese tacos, and french fries. Tres Leche’s cake best in town. Fajitas were ok. not a fan of the rice and beans. You can’t get a better view. The atmosphere is on point. I loved it will give a go again. ”
